We are also liquor licenced so we can not only provide you with the RSA & Food staff but also the drinks. Even more we have portable yet elegant bars you can hire.
Using specially selected imported Spanish ingredients and the finest Australian produce such as fresh seafood, Angus beef and saffron we produce a taste sensation.
We recently won the Australian Good Food Guide 2014 ‘Reader’s Choice Award’ and also the Australian Achievers ‘Best in NSW’ award for events and functions. We have been finalist in numerous other awards.
Flavours of Spain are the organisers of the International Spanish Paella Championships in Australia, in which chefs compete for the title of Best Paella Chef in Oceania. The top three go on to compete in the finals in Spain for the title of Best Paella Chef in the world!

Flavours of Spain, established 10 years ago, remains the first authentic Sydney paella caterer. There are many paella caterers offering Spanish cuisine in Sydney, but few are as passionate about respecting tradition and delivering unique and culturally enriching paella catering experiences to their customers.
Our family-owned and run paella catering business is staffed by a crew of enthusiastic, friendly chefs all trained by Spanish paella chefs, in how to cook with care and excitement, which is what makes our paellas so special.
Paella is our passion and our way of life! Our paella is made from locally sourced fresh premium ingredients made to traditional recipes. We use bomba rice and top quality saffron which gives our paella its rich, golden colour. Our chorizo is made in the traditional method by a Spaniard in the Northern Beaches using Australian pork. Every element of every dish is carefully considered and combined with love – just like it’s done in Spain.

We cater for events of all sizes, from small parties of 20 to large ones of 10,000 or more. Size doesn’t matter to us; we have the perfect pan for every party and the skill and experience to make sure your food is perfect.

What's the cost?
The prices depend on the size and location of your party but an approximate figure would be from $32 per person for an event of 50 people and $22 per person for an event of 100 people. The more people the lower the price. And we don’t have any hidden charges, our quotes are final. Every party has different requirements so get in touch and we will give you a quote pronto!

What ingredients are there?
Do you cook the paella onsite?
Yes we do!! We’ll take our big paella pans, burners and tables with us and cook it from scratch, it makes great viewing for guests. You don’t need to provide anything for the cooking as we take everything we need with us.
What size events do you cater for?
We have catered for anything between 30 to 600+ people events. There is no such thing as a typical party, we have had so many different types:
Birthdays; 18th, 21st, 50th and many more
Anniversaries, family gatherings, food gourmet event
Corporate party, Christmas party, office party, corporate idea
Engagement party, wedding reception, wedding party
Farewell party, welcome event, paella party
and also just a party!
What are your terms and conditions?
Terms and Conditions Cancellation Policy
Booking confirmation in writing or via email will be requested from yourself “the Client”, for the provision of services relating to the Client’s event “the Event” by Flavours of Spain, the service provider, “FoS”. This booking confirmation will become “the Contract” between the Client and FoS. Once this confirmation is received a non-refundable deposit of 40% of the total fee for the Event must be received by FoS within 3 working days via bank transfer, cheque or cash.
The remaining 60% of the total fee for the Event must be received by FoS, from the Client, a minimum of 1 day prior to the Event date unless alternative arrangements are made with FoS management.
Reductions in the numbers of guests of more than 20% of the agreed total in the Contract will not be accepted within 7 working days of the Event unless agreed by the Client and FoS management. Increases in the number of guests may be accepted up to 3 hours before the Event, with the additional cost (for the additional guests) to be paid as per arrangements made with FoS management.
In the absence of written or email confirmation from the Client, payment of the deposit will be considered as acceptance of these terms and conditions by the Client.
